My current book is a re-listen of an audiobook I’ve had for about five years. It contains a series of slogans designed to deepen your wisdom , love, and compassion.

With comparisons between Trump and Hitler commonplace, I ended up listening to this book a couple of years ago. By turning their heads away from ethical behavior, the German people allowed a psychopath to lead their nation to ruin. Let’s don’t let this type of thing happen in America.

The dialogues between the Dalai Lama and leaders within the Christian Community. I was surprised how little difference exists between the ethics of Buddhism and Christianity.

Just finished this book by Pema Chodron for the third time. This book covers the classic Buddhist text,The Way of the Bodhisattva written by Shantideva in the 8th century and is surprisingly relevant in today’s world. I like how Pema brought clarity to the original text which I first read in 1995.

A recent gift from an old friend. This is a Tibetan Prayer Wheel made Big Sur. In Tibet, the prayer wheels were stuffed with paper Om Mani Padme Hum mantras, representing love and compassion going out to everybody when turned. This wheel is high tech with 25 million microfilm prayers inside.
