The degree to which this app and Twitter both over exaggerate the frequency and intensity of major social issues is insane to me this cannot be good for you and I refuse to believe any of you enjoy it, the hatred and panic you must feel scares me; in no way is it proportionate to current events

I didnt actually understand the term doom scrolling but having looked at this app for a while I now do, I never used Twitter so I don't see what the point of this is I think it's a useful place for me to post things but I think if you actively use it as a real Social experience that is bad for you

Turns out actually a lot of people on here are very blind to about 90% of issues and just focus on like, one thing, and that defines all of politics to them and this isn't an American problem so I think actually this app is not for me because I find that incredibly exhausting

Actually I found a way to essentially get rid of American based posts via filtering words so this might be ok
