Every day for the past week I have picked an enormous bowl full of blackberries...and there is no end to what is left on the vines! What's more is each berry is absolutely massive. Blackberry jam, blackberry compote, dried blackberries, frozen blackberries, blackberry jambalaya...

Never underestimate the radish. It grows fast, breaks up compacted soil, and adds a spicy crunch to food. No potatoes? Roast radishes. Need a cover crop? Radish. Versatile? Yup. Eat the root, the leaves, the flowers, and the hundreds of pods they will grow if left in the ground.

Don’t weed it—eat it!
Dandelions are more than lawn invaders—they’re nutrient-dense powerhouses.

• Leaves: rich in iron, calcium & vitamins A, C, K
• Roots: support liver detox, digestion
• Flowers: full of antioxidants

This “weed” is medicine, food, and pollinator friendly.

Chickens are essential to a thriving permaculture garden. They eat pests, fertilize the soil, till the earth, and provide eggs—nature’s multi-tool with feathers. Respect the flock, they do more cluck! #happychickens #permaculture
