I’m glad they told a different story. It’s truly difficult to find stories, post-apocalyptic and not, where women or girls are not abused and have some agency in the world.

Calling them “federal employees” robs them of special powers and reminds us that they can quit or be fired anytime

This is one of the reasons Station 11 is outstanding. People knew things and they improvised and built things!
