I would actually go one step further and say 99% of use cases will be fine with just UUIDv4 (just like all these apps have been for years), so let’s not make a bigger deal out of UUIDv7 than what they are.

Sure, there is also information in the bytes of a NUMBER or a JGP file for that matter... Nothing against geeks being geeks, as long as no best practices are interpreted out of someone being curious. That happens all too often, unfortunately, e.g. www.danielfullstack.com/article/stop...
