And frankly, there are others who can also bring more intensity and less sloppiness. This is the time for all of the players to lay it on the line.

Laine has some very useful tools, including a phenomenal shot when he gets it off, but I do not disagree that he can be a liability on the ice at 5 on 5 (and 3 on 3). It would be wonderful to see some more intensity from him, and less of the sloppiness with the puck.

Winnable game. Not enough push in the third. Laine was the most active guy on his line. The other two need to step up instead of waiting for someone else to do the work.

Not at any cost though, and had to be a good fit with team chemistry and need.
