I'm extremely skeptical that those are actual sailors. Paid actors in the background of tv shots is a well-documented thing with Trump's administration.

Passport meets the Real ID standard to prove identity. It also proves citizenship, which most Real IDs don’t.

I'm not a republican. Real ID requires some of the same paperwork to get as a passport, but it is meant to prove identity and not citizenship. A documented immigrant can get a state Real ID driver license. They can fly, but not vote.

Given that Musk's team is parsing the responses for phrases he considers "woke," it's the same rule as being detained by the police. There is no upside to giving your adversary ammunition to use against you.
