Ironically, I imagine there are a lot of people around the world that think this about us. I can’t think of a LESS responsible government having nukes than ours, with the arguable exception of North Korea.

Maybe we can repurpose trumps concentration camps to hold all the new felons there will be once we can investigate, indict, and convict these villains once we get our government back?

Near as I can tell, antisemitism is a defining characteristic of the right. There is a large fraction of conservatives that really hate Jews, I mean, a LOT. At most, the left doesn’t like Israel, but that’s NOT antisemitism.

This is why the GOP is hemorrhaging Hispanic support. Being a citizen won’t be any defense against these goons. Having a skin color darker than eggshell is probable cause now.

Let’s not forget the new “battleship” class. I get the feeling they gave trump some crayons and construction paper and asked him to “design” it. Obviously it’s too harebrained an idea to actually pursue, but they are using it to keep him from wandering off.

Every one of these strikes is murder. Even if they are carrying drugs, it’s a law enforcement issue, not a military one. We mustn’t forget that. Narco- terrorists isn’t a thing, and it certainly doesn’t justify murder.

Shows what happens when you appoint DOJ lawyers that found their law degrees in a box of crackerjack. I’m sure Halligan has talents, but the law definitely isn’t one of them.

The one thing that may save our democracy is trumps maniacal incompetence. If there is a rake to step on, he’ll step on it (sideshow Bob reference). It certainly won’t be the courage and boldness of democratic leadership that will save us.

Consider all the other things he’s never done; mowed a lawn, shoveled snow, washed a car, sat up with a sick kid. And he’s supposed to be a man of the people? He wouldn’t know a normal person’s life if it bit him.

Another silver lining is that America is about to receive, in full measure, what republican governance really looks like. If they don’t like trump now, wait till their health insurance premiums triple. 2026 will make last weeks elections look like a good night for the republicans.

I’m thinking we are closer to universal healthcare than we ever have been before. It will take a really bad experience to break people from the notion that private insurance is the way to go. We are about to get that experience, and people aren’t going to like it.
