its the most extreme measure ive ever heard of a health inspector taking and i was a chef for 15 years. i've heard of them throwing things away but not pouring bleach on food. thats fuckin insane.

the food safety stuff is concerning enough but the trashcan of water to wash hands in is one of the grossest things ive ever heard going on in any food prep situation. not just a complete disregard for public health but frankly a lack of respect for your own culinary craftmanship.

thats f'n nasty. i dealt with DDPHE for years as a chef and never had anything but respectful and reasonable interactions with their inspectors.

i think everyone should at least know basic food safety like temperature zones. food poisoning has killed entire families in extreme cases.
