How do you explain “8 out of 10 Cats does Countdown” to an American without sounding like an insane person?

The exhilaration and terror of submitting a passport renewal 26 days before travel. Will it make it back in time, or will we wind up throwing ourselves upon the mercy of the State Department in-person mere days before departure? Who knows!!

Office pro tip:
Take your employee badge off when you leave for the day.
I guess for security purposes. But mostly to stop you looking like a giant dork.

Why, in the pantheon of artificial food flavoring, do we code raspberry as “blue”?

No. Abso-fucking-lutely not. Thanksgiving is still two weeks away. I'm not doing forty days of Christmas. You can't make me.

Described my dog as “a daft ha’p’orth”, a Britishism I’m at least a generation too young to use, but if you collect delightful turns of phrase from the UK, that’s a good one for you.

If you are a company considering creating some sort of special-purpose app for home-to-school communication, please do not. The market is so completely saturated and parents do not need another one, or perhaps any at all. Email is fine.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

A little bit of aerial leaf-peeping in Great Barrington, MA with @paramusflyingclub this weekend. Clear skies, cool weather, and smooth air the whole way. Nothing better.

This was such a fun project to work on! Happy to see it go out the door; it’s really exciting to create a new way for people to create and post on Threads. Really curious to see where this goes and how people use it.
