One of my favorite pieces of US history is the Combahee River raid, a military operation let by Harriet Tubman in 1863. 700 slaves were rescued. What a story. What a life she led!

Stop by the Harriet Tubman Bridge and boat landing when you are in the SC Lowcountry.

So often in our conversations we're anxiously awaiting our turn to speak. Believe me, I get it. Try helping significant people in your life (especially children) tell their story with Minimal Encouragers: "go on", "say more", "then what?" 🙂
