I just saw a water bottle that’s a great metaphor for American politics right now.

Most of us know it’s full of piss. A few insist it’s filled with lemonade. They’ll even drink it, taste the piss, and say that’s what lemonade really tastes like.

I had a great time at the Ferrum Folklife Festival today. The highlight for me this year was the horse pulling competition. These are all working horses that do horse logging. This pair is pulling 7,000 pounds!
