Film inspiration came from Kill Bill, The Harder They Fall, Five Fingers For Marseilles, and Horizon: An American Saga.

A recent challenge from my VFX professor to make the effects for a game that doesn't exist based on a movie that does. Here was my go at Django Unchained done as a top-down shooter inspired by the Hotline Miami games.

Another effect, this time inspired by the seiges in #KingdomComeDeliverance and #ForHonor.

This boiling puddle of siege sludge uses no pure blacks or greys, but rather a mix of purples and greens to make it feel more acrid and thick.

Other than the spotlight, all the particles are made up of inventory icons from the first game.

A short demo of Kneon Knights' procedural generation system within a greybox.

From only 3 character sprites by one of our artists, we can create 243 different enemy designs. Within the next few weeks these will be fully animated and active within the game.

As of September 30th, KNEON KNIGHTS is in development!

I worked on this game concept through the summer, and was over the moon when it was chosen as one of my cohort's 7 capstone projects. Kneon Knights recived the most 1st and 2nd choice votes on the ranked ballot!
