One critical failure in 6 years seems pretty good. My code goes down way more often than that

Will we get a way to use Nuxt Studio with a DB at some point?

I have never seen it before and hadn’t really thought about the size, but that is way bigger than I expected. So much space so you can fit both 5G and 8K

I just had an LLM generated project that had 890 lint errors that could not be autofixed. Tried to have the LLM fix it, but alas I had to fix them myself one by one. Every single was from interfaces it had generated and 50% of those where useless so they got deleted

Was just about to comment how that was more work than most do(or should do) on holiday, before I noticed the name change.

The complaint is broader than this post. Every time I see a post like this, Nuxt is left out leading to what I feel is a better framework being underrepresented in the discourse. I can’t say why this happens, but it does annoy me. Sorry if it felt like a critique of you specifically.

Having followed the community around him I doubt it. It is generally pretty good on basically everything

Constantly amazed at people leaving out Vue and Nuxt when posting like this. Nuxt alone has more footprint than all of Svelte and Vue has twice that of Nextjs

If you need a truly simple but very fast backend in JS it’s a good choice. From my experience it’s strengths are mostly just the performance, be it API requests or web sockets.

It also has some common stuff built in like DB or serving JSX and it that way it’s closer to a framework than node

Then use it more is the simple answer. Someone has to be first, and there is a lot of momentum at this point with it

Just look at trans people. A group that just wants to be left alone. Trans athletes is a hot topic on fox news, but there’s almost none of them. It’s gotten so bad that women are attacked just because someone thinks they look manly. Now the rest aren’t without blame but it’s driven by the right wing
September 12, 2025 at 6:12 AM
The one way to reduce this is for right wing media to stop lying. It has created a world view where to many all people on the left are either pedophiles or someone who supports pedophiles. That is what is causing it
September 12, 2025 at 5:53 AM
I have to disagree. This is the first time in a while a republican has been attacked. You also have to separate a lawmaker from a media personality. Killing an elected official is a direct attack on democracy in a greater way.
September 12, 2025 at 5:51 AM
Sure. If you accept the 2A as required it is, but it was added later so it isn’t. But no matter what it is a monkeys fist situation
September 12, 2025 at 4:57 AM
That argument is just a race to the bottom. The reason he attacked the Pelosis was lies about the democrats. Same with pizzagate. The gun solution is just a way to not deal with the actual problem around this. The only areas in the world with the same gun attitudes are warzones or drug filled slums

Number 2 on this list. Tbf what he says is true if you actually believe gun control of any kind infringes upon the right. That is batshit insane in my mind but you can make that argument

Here's What Charlie Kirk Said About Gun Control Over The Years
"I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment," Kirk said in 2023.

But the actual point is that he laughed at democratic lawmakers dying and made jokes. He doesn’t get sympathy from me after that
September 11, 2025 at 10:25 PM
There is a difference between a trained soldier in a war zone and schoolchildren. What he is saying is that he is willing to let innocents die and that is sick. Dying for your rights is a choice and many that has died directly opposed the 2A

Again, I reject the idea that killing Charlie Kirk was anything but an evil act. I will also note that Charlie Kirk urged his audience to bail out Paul Pelosi's attacker, and he blamed the left for the cold-blooded murders of two Democratic lawmakers and one of their spouses by a right-wing loon.
September 11, 2025 at 10:14 PM
Charlie for sure didn’t and tbh that decided this for me. All murders are horrible but he himself said that people dying was worth it to keep the 2A so this is a monkeys paw situation
September 11, 2025 at 9:59 PM
Doesn’t that just mean that the difference is who integrates? If no one supports the package you can’t use any vendors anyway.

Not that I don’t see the upside of having one thing for hosts to adapt to and have multiple packages use it. Definitely the better way

So that is a yes to the tech writeup? Or maybe a decoder episode with more focus on the tech?
