I'm not sure if the receive more supply trucks, but it would make sense if they did.

Meanwhile, every infantry division used by the western allies has the ability to be motorized for a single turn, if you spend 4 command points on them (or use a truck card, which allow them to be motorized for the whole battle)

Unity of command 2 kinda does that; when playing the germans you usually have infantry divisions and sometimes a cavarly unit or two. Your armored, mechanized and motorized divs are much fewer in numbers and it hurts like hell when you take ANY losses with them.
