I tried. Also tried in BG3 with a full Dark Urge playthrough. But I just can’t do it.

Shouldn’t it be about player choice?
Baldur’s Gate 3 did a wonderful job of allowing you to control if you want to romance anyone, or remain friends (or Frenemies). My brother in law doesn’t like romance in the game, but I do. So we both win in this case.

Hard agree with Doom. Eternal required a lot of micromanagement of your abilities and skills. Grew frustrating.
I just wanted frantic action and dead demons. 2016 Doom delivered that.

I’ll echo Mass Effect Legendary Edition. The first game is a little rough combat wise. Gets much better with 2.

Oh, for sure. The legendary edition tries to clean up a lot, but even back during release I struggled with the first game. Turned it on easy mode just to power through.
And then 2 vastly improved the combat and cutscenes. They are still dated, but not as bad as 1.

BG3 for me. Shit is addictive. And with patch 8 coming with new subclasses and cross-platform play, it’ll drag me back in!
