As a young econ scholar, it’s hard to place work: journals outside the big houses (Informa, Wiley, Springer Nature, Elsevier, SAGE) still get side-eyed for different reasons. In a recent LinkedIn post Aris Spanos suggested to submit to "less prominent journals". What would you recommend?

Have you thought/written on something related to Eonomics regarding model-centric paradigm and results? This power-laden discipline adores models, but strives or quick results, albeit, unlike psych, justified by "better research design" but still much adoring p-values and NHSTs.
