I showed my sister Kuuchuu Buranko last night. Tried to warn her about how weird it is. "No matter how weird you think it is," I said, "it's weirder than that."
She still wasn't prepared.

I read somewhere that the psychology used in Kuuchuu Buranko is Freudian, so I did a quick brush-up on the id-ego-superego thing and it's a very convincing interpretation. Irabu's three aspects can be seen as representing the id, ego, and superego. #kuuchuuburanko

Since Irabu only seems to see male patients, I gotta wonder if the hospital has a female psychiatrist down the hall who only sees female patients. She takes the form of a purple rabbit plushy and occasionally shapeshifts into either a potty-mouthed little girl or a beautiful woman. #kuuchuuburanko
