Now that I have an A2000 keyboard, I need an interface to connect it to the A1200 mb in the Checkmate case: the Lyra 3 Keyboard Interface for Amiga 1200.

For the accelerator card, I’m going with the TerribleFire TF1260, designed by Stephen Leary.
The TF1260 will be a great pairing with my MC68060RC50 CPU overclocked to 100MHz, and it provides 128MB RAM and an IDE interface.

I’ve decided on an A1200 mb and a Checkmate Plus case with rails. That case with rail-style feet will get me close to the A1000 aesthetic and have room for all sorts of goodies. Found a recapped mb with upgraded ROMs ready to go!

So…where to start? I gave away (🤬) my Amiga 500 decades ago and I’ve been out of the scene for ages, so it’s time for some interwebs research.
