You have to remember the mandate to leave was lopsided, combined by "facts" shovelled to hoards of the gullible. Meanwhile self-serving politicians have been rolling out the red carpet for the US&A for quite some time.

Politicians should read Vassal State (Angus Hanton) "shows how US companies have embedded themselves in the UK, capitalising on our willingness to pay them outlandish fees and subscriptions and afford them the hefty tax breaks needed to keep them in the UK."
