Yeah I will eventually graduate back to a tank. But I really can't afford to drop $100 on a compressor at the moment. And rattle cans were chalky because of heat and humidity.

It probably does yeah, but I need to some progress asap. Some of the builds that do inner frame, all at once then outer armour. Nope I'm building a limb/part completely.

I tend to do, leg, waist, leg arm, torso, head, arm then backpack/accessories.

The secret is I'm a basic builder and I only use markers so I just draw on and smudge the excess away with my thumb. Haven't gotten brave enough to try in or the flow type markers as I see people break models and I don't have a space for spirits.

I've basically raided all the hardware stores looking for storage solutions. I use screw sorters for my big Gundam builds as well.
