Amazon says pay us an extra $3 a month to remove the ads we decided were absolutely necessary on top of the prime subscription. I dumped the streaming services and have gone back to the high seas.

When you go in and do the delete/deactivate account, you have to wait at least the 30 days for it to be fully deleted, if you try to log in to it again in that time frame, it will ask if you want to reactivate it. I deleted mine several months ago and never looked back.
