heres a screenshot since the amount of noise nuked the upload. maybe if im lucky it will nuke the screenshot too and u wont be able to see the little flaws 😇
strongly considering revisiting the idea of a fully-raytraced voxel renderer for my game cause it would go very hard

yesterday afternoon i threw together this little raytracer with nim and opengl. running at 4k at around 100 fps. 32 spp, maximum 16 bounces. its noisy and also just kinda generally scuffed looking when its actually on ur desktop so im probably gonna start over before i do any actual gamedev with it

today I tried and partially succeeded to fix my cube atmosphere shader. id like to have something presentable to show at some point soon, probably on youtube. i need to take all these prototypes i have been working on and convince them to play nice with one another
