It was truly an honour to be in the presence of such innovative & successful women. The meeting with the French Ambassador Elsa Pignol was energising and inspiring, a really great discussion looking for new ways of cooperating, expanding & building networks. We are proud to play our part in this.

Just last week, a woman is doing everything she can to leave her violent husband.
He won’t let her leave.
He won’t leave her alone.
He says he loves her.
But it’s not about love.
It’s about control.

Some really important advice here for small organizations without the capacity to post everywhere for everyone. What do you want to be known for? Who do you want to be known by? Is a more personalized conversation more important? A lot of very good ideas for shaping the comms strategy.

This was a really interesting podcast. Definitely do recommend. Very important about the support to front line staff. Lots of human rights defenders and heads of civil society organizations don’t actively use social media in Tajikistan, because the risk of backlash and hate speech is too high.
