#Oman: New Nationality Law compromises principles of justice and rule of law
The law contains several arbitrary articles that deprive citizens, residents and women in general from enjoying their civil and human rights. GCHR calls for it to be revised

بعد أكثر من عامين على انتهاء عقوبته، وبينما حُرم من حقه في التمثيل القانوني، أُعيدت محاكمته، وحُكم عليه في 27 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2025 بالسجن لمدة 25 عاماً أخرى.

14 years ago today, on 22 June 2011, Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja was sentenced to life imprisonment for peacefully calling for human rights in #Bahrain. He was again omitted from the recent #Eid pardons so we raise our voices & call on UN #HRC59 to take action to #FreeAlKhawaja @marylawlorhrds.bsky.social
