The stable genius with 6(?) bankruptcies tells oil execs: invest 100B; expect 10 years to recoup the investment; forget that 80/ barrel is break even point; disregard that market today is 60/barrel; we will try to get it lower than 60/ barrel; and don’t think your 9 B loss to date will be a factor.

Congress must use the purse to defund DHS, DoD, etc. until we have resignations from Noem, Hegseth et. al.

If it’s January, then I guess it’s time for another government shutdown! Instead of pushing for increased subsidies, we’ve already seen R’s respond to that by doing ZERO, why not push for resignations from Bondi, Kegseth, Kennedy, Noem, Homan… ? No resignation, no budget, less harm they’ll do.

I disagree with the 8 senators who voted cloture. Let’s have a vote on extending ACA subsidies and assume it fails in mid-Dec. What solution is offered by Rs, between March ‘25 and 1-30-26? None or something ridiculous? Ins. premiums will be obscene and the next shutdown can last until Nov. ‘26.

Greetings from Florida! Publix announced it will allow open carry in its stores. Even Walmart, that bastion of eastern liberalism says no to open carry. Publix HQ can be reached at 863-688-1188. I’m not going there anymore. If a gun carrier in produce confronts you, all I can say is”lettuce pray”.

Is there a Democratic candidate for governor in Utah who is promising in the campaign to pardon Charlie Kirk’s killer? Isn’t that basically what Trump did with the J6 convicts? Is there anyone who disagrees with the idea that political violence is always unacceptable, other than Trump?
