Yes, Carney is the right person at this time. He seems to be a straight up guy, great demeanor. The world is changing, things will have to done differently now. Carney critics are having a hard time understanding change, the old ways won't work anymore. It's all to see but at this time I support him

I hear what you're saying but why do we let America have so much influence on our society, that's not America's fault that's our weakness and fault. Cleaning up our problems would be for our benefit , it has nothing to do with America staying the same or not, that's their problem not ours.

Like I've been saying for a while, we need to clean up our own backyard before condemning the American special kind of stupid.

And yes, you're right, carbon capture does work. With Carney wanting to expand on that it will be of meaningful benefit. It's amazing how some will nitpick to try to prove a point.

Yes, you're correct. That's why I say although I'm for green power I'm also realistic. We just can't suddenly turn off the switch because, yes, that would put us back in the stone age. We need the proper infrastructure and economics in place for it to work, but it's going to take time and strategy.

Just so u know because of the other guy. When I say don't fight it I meant let's give Carney a chance with green, he's our only chance. With the Cons in power we can kiss any green energy goodbye for good. The NDP will be in the same boat as the Libs and the Greens will never gain any type of power

'cause it's never been seriously implemented on a meaningful scale. Don't fight it, green energy is coming, it's not going to happen overnight, that's unrealistic for Canada, it's a huge country made up of provincial govts. with their own agendas. I'm a green energy person myself, but also realistic

It's a nice little city, friendly respectful people and very welcoming to immigrants, non issue. We have some people who are racist and bigots but it's impossible to be free of that, but it's really a non issue here. We moved here from Saskatoon about 12 years ago, it was a good decision.
