Fascinated and often disappointed by how people make decisions, behavioral economics, data, scientific method, tech skeptic, history, reader of indictments, lover of football played with feet
And yet his delusional fan boys and shareholders continue to think he is an amazing business man and worth a now $1trn pay package.

We are in this situation where one wonders how the military will react to following the constitution or illegal orders because of Fox News being the news channel shown in all barracks and bases world wide. It’s a national security risk.

I appreciate that in reporting on the steady stream of trump admin’s egregious behavior, Tim’s able to step back and say, “sorry this is really bad” when he needs to. When others comment and report on trump & co, they often report all as being equally awful. Some things are more awful than others.

Replace Musk with “Dear Leader” and it could be read aloud on N Korean evening news.

In any case: any congressperson (& their families) who voted to support RFK’s appointment should be banned from ever getting a vaccination again. Same for Fox News employees who’ve been cheerleading RFK.

No hospital should accept them when their pertussis, COVId, etc infections get severe.

If they don’t believe RFK, yet still support RFK, they are psychopaths. But why? Even psychopaths have reasons. Are they conspiring some kind of Malthusian cull of the US populations? Is it to force an accelerationist civil war when unrest erupts in the next pandemic?

Quacks and conspiracists have always existed. But GOP support is one of the most perplexing and disheartening displays of their depravity. If they believe RFK’ quackery they shouldn’t be trusted to operate a vehicle or raise children, let alone represent millions of constituents.

This isn’t a matter of experts disagreeing.

Kennedy is using our public health agencies to essentially boost anti-vax groups like the one he founded that continues to promote him and his family—and will likely welcome him back when his time in government is done, paying him big money.

And like with many tech leaders, he’s rather attack an unregulated market with rich early adopters, like near ground airspace, with all the safety and insurance risks, than to make money by adding real value to people’s lives.

And wasted time with ignorant people chasing false hopes from quacks.

Someday economists will do an opportunity cost analysis on how expensive the GOP is and how these anti-science poorly reasoned decisions prevent working on REAL legislation and programs that help people.

I just got done posting that Witkoff, as a friggin’ real estate developer with only an expertise in short term transactional negotiations with parties he may never see again, has no credibility being in his role as intl “peace” negotiator. I guess I should amend my post to say he’s also an idiot.

And still Bloomberg’s headline treats Trump as a serious person and the administration as honest brokers.

Bloomberg: please stop giving this admin a veil of credibility. They are hapless. They are arsonists who also own the fire department.
November 20, 2025 at 11:04 AM
Recall that Witkoff has zero experience negotiating intl contexts, diplomacy, history. He’s a friggin’ real estate developer who, like his orange boss, looks at the world only thru a short term transactional lense. No respectable journal should expect him to be an honest broker? Kleptokakistocracy.

His latest, as he recently told Joe “just asking questions” Rogan: by end 2025 Tesla will launch a prototype roadster flying car that his tech sovereign nation buddy Peter Thiel asked for. This was after he claimed that SF NGOs conspire with the DA & cops to keep homeless people addicted to drugs.

Considering the constant lies he told the markets about Tesla and Space X project plans over the last 15 years, lies ignored by his delusional fan boys, “Ignore everything Elon has said” is a useful rule of thumb. The instrument has yet to be invented that can measure just how full of shit Musk is.
