I did it! I DID IT! It took me many moons, many states, many times of dropping successive tomes on my face while reading before bed, but I completed Proust. #MarcelProust #FriendsofProust #Alarecherchedutempsperdu

I can now enter Monty Python’s ‘All-England Summarize Proust Competition.’

Newborn bunnies. Have to be today as I just mowed the lawn yesterday. Of course, now that I know they’re there, I’ll have to monitor the dog and keep an eye out for predators.

I would be a smaller raptor like a kestrel just to fly around and experience the sky. Or, I’d be my dog Schmoe (pictured) because who doesn’t love lying on the couch with lots of pillows and being doted on by family?

My #TenMinMerlin netted this crop this morning. While it’s not my backyard, it’s a fairly good sampling of what I’ve seen/heard all week. Missing a Canada Goose, a possible Fish Crow, a White-Breasted Nuthatch, and a Carolina Chickadee for sure.

I’ve just finished the 5th volume of Proust’s masterpiece. It has taken me years to get to this point, but I am enthusiastic about getting home from vacation to begin the 6th (and final!) volume. #Proust #InSearchOfLostTime

It’s been a good week here. There’s also a maddeningly elusive ruby crowned kinglet somewhere out there. #birds #merlinbirdid

Just an evening out by the fire, listening to the birds and the gentle lapping of the lake. It’s one of the most peaceful moments I’ve had this year.

For today’s #PoliticalCleanse of the timeline, I give you one of many photos I have taken at the grocery store of items that may/may not have substituted for a requested item per a list my wife created. Alas, these were of the ‘may not’ variety as she wanted turkey meatballs.

Should’ve bought ‘em
