He seems to be friends with his loofah — nudging it, nibbling on it, and sometimes using it as a pillow. But whether he’s leaning on it or hiding in his hay, he often keeps his eyes open, and bits of hay stick to them. I wonder if there’s a good way to help him close his eyes 🤔

Lately, he sometimes eats his food while lying down. His checkups are all normal, and he still zooms around the living room, so his legs and back seem fine. I guess he’s a little old man now 🐹

He is prone to urolithiasis, so I limit vegetables and give him "Uroact" (cranberry and Quercus salicina). Cranberry acidifies urine and is antibacterial; Quercus salicina has diuretic effects. The supplement once helped him pass a stone, but his urine is still mildly alkaline (pH10.0).
