My roller derby team is hosting an Off-Skates Reffing 101 workshop for queer youth at the public library this summer. We’re offering community service hours & inviting participants to ref our scrimmages. We don’t have capacity for a full jr’s league yet, so this bridges the gap in the meantime. 🎉

What do Newsom’s statements and economic boycotts have in common? The PlumpJack Group, a hospitality investment firm in which Newsom maintains ownership interests (valued at over $1M as of 2024). PlumpJack owns restaurants, wineries, bars, a hotel, and even a ski rental and repair shop. 4/
