It's hard to tell what's the goverment of the USA *real* idoelogy. What they *actually* believe or what's merely for populist rethoric to appeal to part of its base.

Isn't driven by christian nationalism. Rather the religous rigth is instrumentalized for tribalism and fearmonger. The new rigth is a mix of factions including a christian rigth on one side, the oligarch technocrats on the other. And business are priority.

Those bans aren't inherently far rigth, although in the USA it largely is.
