I think it might be time to start talking seriously about breaking the US up. There could be several decent mid-power countries introduced into the free world community. A few parts that would be akin to North Korea but if we can keep the nukes away from those ones the world will be a better place.

It's a necessary part of utilizing the pipeline. The dredging is not new. It happens for many reasons.
In the Fraser they dredge massively every year. Those giant car ships couldn't get up if they didn't. Maxing this pipe takes some pressure off the case for lifting the tanker ban.

...and looking at their team, there seems to be a lot of volunteer time being put into this effort.

The public info says the group that started this used their own money and investments/loans from family. A large chunk of their capital is coming through crowdfunding.
There are no tech billionaires involved and given the model, and the environment - they are unlikely to become multi-billionaires.

While it’s impossible to know what someone else believes I note that Carney (& his team) appear to have had their eyes open all along & know more than we do. They have been holding discussions, but the US mixes in theatrics as a negotiating tactic. So now, it appears, we are doing some of the same.

Just removed it from the last device after it was confirned that the broligopoly co.s won't pay any tax in Canada on the money they make off my data. Still working on Google (this one is taking a while and requires a new European phone - Murena).

Yes, she's correct. And classy too! Such diplomacy and nuanced negotiation skill.
In fact, we have no idea what this one "win" actually means but for some reason conclusions sound smarter than wondering.

Carney makes move that is likely smart (as he's a smart guy &knows this stuff -it was already suspected he'd recind the tax). No one knows for certain @ this point. Except anonymous drugdog he knows it was bad because he has inside information or because he's one of those that "just knows" stuff.

It was done at the Boston and not Montreal game, as the booing would have been clearly audible in Canada.

Beyond the treachery, the hypocrisy is poetic.
This torpedo act is from the person whose being (and key legislation) is founded on telling others to stay in their lane.
And here she is, the usurper, trying to outdo Rob Ford and speak for Canada, but in a clearly unhelpful way.

But we need to keep him as Leader of the Opposition. Lots of people out there need the slogans to remember what their opinion is.

It's interesting how, for 9 years, everything was Trudeau's fault. He was a dictator who single-handedly killed Canada. Everything he did was arbitrary and the opposite of what was needed.
Now, suddenly, he was a true team leader, and his entire cabinet was powerful and contributing.

What do they statistics say about their effectiveness? Are all such quotes equal? Does timing matter? What about the existing relationship between "boss" and workers?
"All mass generalizations are wrong."

Yeah, probably.
I'm not a political strategist or communications consultant, so my opinion on such things would not be a well-informed one. That said, I don't think Mr. Carney was all that relevant in this conversation prior to Jan 6.

True, but the Greens are unlikely to get elected, so I think the experiment is going to continue for a while yet.

It will come. That was not the place for it, really. Although he tried to get some of that in. Read his book if you're so inclined.
I agree on the insulting opponents thing. I'm hoping he sets himself apart in that way. We'll see.
