I live in a small NC town population 1100. Most people here struggle financially. How many other people have they done this to? I know of 2 already, an elderly woman who got a letter saying she owed $900. If anyone wants to donate and help out I’d be so grateful!

Demons! I’m collecting funds now for a low income family, who have been using Duke’s low income program rate. Duke sent them a letter 2 wks ago saying “you exceeded the allotted kilowatts per month, for 4 years so now you owe us $1547.00 on 12/8.” What low income family has $1547 F’ing dollars.
