I went to a public school in Paris, France for 3D animation. It was free. The main thing I got out of it was work ethic. Then, a network of peers and a bar to reach. An identity. Only last and least important was exposure to some of the technicalities and theories of the medium.
It was worth it.

They are nice places to work! It's a reliable and free flow promoting environment available in most cities. I enjoy the ones in Grenoble and Valence in France most often but I have a positive memory of that of Toulouse and some Parisian libraries as well. I love libraries.
