One year yesterday.
He wrote and sang the songs that told the world who we are, our hopes, fears and dreams - he was one of our own. To Irish emigrants everywhere Shane was our poet and scribe. ☘️

In University of Birmingham today for workshop - After the Terror: Peace, Reconciliation and the Troubles in Britain. On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the pub bombings we remember the families & friends of those killed and injured and a city still in healing.
