I’m new at this and not yet good enough to draw anatomy or perspective from scratch and have it look good, so they’ve been helpful for me. I’ll get there one day.

What program do you use to draw? Clip Studio Paint has poseable 3D models that could help with visualizing challenging positions.

Not every drawing needs to be your best drawing ever, better than anything you’ve ever done before, and that’s okay. Take some time to rest, and when you feel like drawing again, draw what makes you happy, even if it’s just rough sketches of a totally different subject. And that’s perfectly fine.

That said, there’s nothing wrong with taking some time off to rest and recuperate. I know several favorite authors and favorite artists that I follow have felt the same and needed their own time off. Mental health is important. You can’t continuously crank out content without burning out eventually.

If you’re talking about Miyabi’s half-turned angle with the ring pic from a few days ago, I actually thought that was very well done. Her face, ears, shoulders, torso, and hands were all on the same plane and following the same perspective lines and looked like a natural pose.
