Played Parks & Potions and really enjoyed how simple this game is to learn and play! It has solo challenges, competitive mode, and co-op modes to play. A lot of game in a medium box. The potion mixing to get what you want and limited storage area makes for some interesting decisions. #boardgamesky

Acquired these three yesterday, and very excited to try them out. I've been excited about "There and Back Again," since @425suzanne.bsky.social 's post a while back. My FLGS included a metal d12 with it! The other two look like a fun time as well, can't wait to mix potions and place penguins.

Excuse the old card table and shadows from the window, but finally got Subastral to the table. Really enjoyed the simplicity of the rules, and of course the art! @bethsobel.bsky.social 's art always brightens my day. Always love games by @mattriddlegames.bsky.social & Ben Pinchback! #boardgamesky

Two other games I finally got to play, Sea Salt & Paper and Nana! These were both a lot of fun with 3 players. Loved the simplicity of both of them. Lots of fun, felt like your decisions mattered! (not just luck) Glad I got a copy of Nana a while back, the art is worth it. #boardgamesky

Catching up on some games I finally got to try. Loved Final Girl, and was excited to try different settings/killers. Really enjoyed the mechanisms used to make the action/difficulty ramp up as the game goes on. I love the horror movie tropes used for events/horror cards. #boardgamesky

Forgot to share that I played Harmonies solo and really enjoyed it! I really enjoy the puzzle of this, trying to figure out which animals can overlap habitats. #boardgamesky

Played Dreadful Meadows from Arkus Games (Designed by Lukus Adam) and really enjoyed it! I felt like this one really went under the radar. Loved the tile placement/engine building of placing harvesters to increase production of candy! Fun theme and lovely art as well (this is retail version).

Fellowship of the Ring Trick Taking game solo! Trying to get everyone's goals is a fun challenge. You only see the first 4 cards and are dealt a new one each time you play one. Lovely art as well! Love that you unlock characters as you go in the order of the story. Can't wait to try multiplayer!

Finally got Merchants of Magick back on the table! Such a fun roll and write. Love the the decisions about which dice to use, when to use potions, and it's a fun theme. Played it twice in a row because it's that good and easy to play. Always enjoy this one by @stoichamster.bsky.social

Played Águeda : City of Umbrellas from @25thcentury.games solo and really enjoyed it! I love the mechanic of picking up umbrellas in a row where it costs a coin for 3, nothing for 2, or you gain a coin for taking 1. Tourist and shop scoring also adds interesting choices as well! So colorful!

Other than making more time for board games, sewing felt ornaments has been fun! These are some non Christmas ones I made.

Mycelia, designed & illustrated by J.J. Neville, just phenomenal. I love how the mechanisms reflect the theme with sporing (wind die indicates direction), fruiting mushrooms, decaying old ones. Each players mycelia network is their available resources but it can be cut off. Solo automa is great too!

Excuse me, Google, I did what now? No, I sent a message saying I don't want it on anything and forcing it on us is absurd.

Played Witchcraft from @25thcentury.games and really enjoyed it! Great choices and fun trying to balance the power you have with your witches in hand vs. the challenges and mission you choose. The familiars are a nice touch, and love how some challenges have other effects. Great game!

Yeeeeah, Imma pass on that account follow. Making food with AI doesn't make you a chef. Please check recipes before you follow them...this was the most obvious but some aren't so obvious.

Finally got Maple Valley to the table! My sisters and I really enjoyed it. It is interesting how restrained it feels the first round (until you gather some friends) and how quickly it picks up like a snowball growing in size as you roll it. Also, lovely art as always!

Nothing like opening up a game that you played online many times in development and adored! It's so lovely in person! Now excuse me while I go stare at it for a while. 😍

Finally got ROVE from Button Shy games to the table. Really enjoyed the module puzzle aspect and the special powers on each module. Really fun and challenging. Can't wait to try an expansion!

Reminded me of this...lol

Really enjoyed Leaf! The mechanism of laying leaves down and gaining actions equal to the leaf tips that touch is really interesting and different. Loved the artwork and the zero plastic packaging! The game box has great organization and the game had beautiful artwork too.

Loved Meadow so much I immediately played again! I only played solo so far, but I really think this will be a great 2-3 player game for us. The art is also beautiful!

It made it! I can't wait to play it. This is Nana, a Japanese card game that was published in the US as Trio. I like the art on this one and thought the card art would help me remember numbers more easily! @boardgamegeek.bsky.social Game Night sold me on it.
