Bamum Royal Throne for sale is a large, very beautiful and important Bamum beaded throne, this royal seat was owned by Sultan Seidou Njimoluh Njoya (18th dynasty) the father of the Sultan Ibrahim Mbombo Njoya the current Sultan until 27th September 2021 when he sadly passed away.

Up for sale this is one of several african bronze pieces available. This is a Bamileke/Bamum bronze decorative mask looks to have been cast all in one piece with the exception of the ears. This piece really looks to be from the 1900's, mid century. This is a great piece and does show rather well.

Hundreds of brass plaques with figures in high relief once covered the wooden pillars of the palace courtyard. Imported as a result of overseas trade with Europe, brass was the ultimate sign of wealth and the exclusive property of the king.
