Cleaned up the Japanese replica J-38. A couple days of soaking metal parts in vinegar and I also replaced the 50-year-old grease in the bearings and lubricated the spring. I planned to sand and refinish the base but opted to ultimately forego that. #hamradio #amateurradio #SKCC #telegraphy

The weekend of repairs successfully continues! Finally got my ATU-100 EXT working and tested! It seems i just had a few questionable solder joints detected with a DMM. A hot iron and fresh solder did the trick. Now, should I do a full alignment of a new-to-me K2? #hamradio #amateurradio #sota #pota

Nice double summit day for #SOTA - Corte Madera and Mt Pinos. 11.2 miles RT and about 2700 feet of gain. Nice leisurely Friday hike. Forgot to take pictures but the views were very nice today 😂. #amateurradii #hamradio

#vegetarian thanksgiving (which could easily be made #vegan, but I like butter). I underbaked the mushroom, sweet potato, apple-cran roast, unfortunately. Should have blind baked the ruffpuff pastry in the pan first I think, but it was still pretty good. Everything else was great!

UPDATE: got my magnet wire and built 3 LPF boards for the QRP Labs 50W amp so I can use it on 40-10! #hamradio #amateurradio #qrplabs #workbench
