Floofball
My first PC was a Tandy Deskmate, then got into a Packard Bell with Win 3.1, then onto a Compaq Presario with Windows 98. Totally skipped Windows 95, I believe.

TL;DR it's all calibration stuffs. Mainly the trackers just not finding their position in space. They seem to *track* just fine, but are clueless as to where they are in general.

And I certainly intend to prod around in the server soon enough when I get some more time to work on these ^.^

Plus, mind you, it's even difficult to get them to work *without the Vive trackers*, hence my frustrations too.

Yeee. And again, I appreciate the development and the support that's on this.

I've been mulling through the topics in the Discord to find answers. Don't want to be "that guy" that just asks a question that's been answered a million times already.

Just was taken aback at the difficulty, 'tis all.

The dev team seems very open to all feedback, which is good. The 45686 platform is new (few months), so I suspect it's just violently broken for some reason. Hell, I can't even get the bare minimum (5 trackers) to work; Literally just refuse to find their "space" and align.

Onward. Disappointingly.

Still, my intent was originally going to be to "enhance the Vive trackers at a lower cost than Vive", but now I 1000% understand why the Vive trackers cost what they do: They absolutely just "work".

I'm also writing down everything I can in hopes to present it to the Slime Devs.

While there's hundreds (thousands?) of pages of support on Discord, Reddit, GitHub, and their own site, *none* of it talks about the Calibration issues on the ICM-45686 IMU. I'm not sure if this is a problem on the BNO085 platform or not, but it's drastically broken on the 45686.

I was anticipating using a mixed-tracker environment: Vive 2.0's for Feet/Waist, Slime everywhere else.

Failing that, I've attempted to use *only* the Slime trackers in the positions recommended. They refuse to calibrate and align.

Most of my time has been spent sifting through documentation.

Every year I try to create something new and I've been having a blast with this one ^.^

There's something about this I still love even to this day. Today's game might do this render in a literally frame or two, but even if they slowed down and did the *effect*, I'd still love it.

Something is certainly mesmerizing and soothing to watch this happen, for sure.

oooooo.

I never got "full send" into anime growing up, but I'm also anticipating you're going to find some relics I will have "core memory unlocks" from when you post XD

I moreso had "the weird unknown anime movies no know knew about" trope as a kid, so will there be some movie-stuffs too?

Same.

There was a lot of @everyone pings that said it got hacked, then *every* support channel got hard locked.

I'm watching it for updates.
