BlueSky’s foremost (only?) combination Mets, Jets, Rangers and Sunderland fan. 3x marathoner.
When USC inevitably loses this game and Lincoln chooses to go elsewhere, I’ll gladly drive him to the airport.

It’s not that the Jets will lose another football game — they’re a bad team. It’s that they’ve regressed every single week while continuing to make the same mistakes.

Tommy Watson’s last meaningful kick as a Sunderland player is to win the Championship Playoff Final and catapult the Lads to the Premier League. #safc

Can we take a moment to acknowledge what a brilliant season #safc have had? A young squad, an unproven coach and yet a massive overachievement over 46 games. Full credit to the players, the recruitment, the coach — RLB has been outstanding.

I will never get over Tom Watson losing the 2009 Open Championship. Unless Fred Couples wins the 2025 Masters.

One final time for Sam and JD. An iconic duo.

Weird game that. Thought Sunderland played well in spells. Millwall had some good movement but a clear lack of talent/end product. Isidor had a sure goal saved brilliantly. And then the penalty — what are we doing? O’Nien? Might as well have RLB or Michael Proctor take it themselves. Goodness. #safc

Worst #safc performance of the season, by far. And if Cirkin is out long term, this will have been an utter disaster.

Didn’t see today’s game, but let’s keep our cool #safc fans, yeah? This season has been a smashing success thus far. Trust RLB and the Lads to deliver the goods at the end.

Absolutely gutting and nothing to be ashamed of. Beaten away from home by the division’s best team in a raucous atmosphere.

Also RLB waited far too long to make any changes when the tide clearly turned.

Also Strujik clearly fouled Samed before heading home the equalizer.

Waited until well after the work day ended to turn on #safc away at Boro and rewarded with an absolutely massive 3-2 win to stay in the hunt for automatics. Still buzzing. What a performance by the Lads!

Supremely frustrating half for #safc. All of the ball, but no clear cut chances against a dire Plymouth side. Improvement needed in the second 45. This has to be three points.
January 25, 2025 at 3:49 PM
Classic would-have-taken-a-draw-before-the-game-but-that’s-a-tough-one-to-take game. How on earth can the same player miss two penalties? I worry those two points dropped will be the difference come May. But I sure hope Isidor holds his head up — he’s been sensational this year. #safc

Somehow the season is only at the halfway mark? Anyway the Rangers are back warm up the Canyon.
January 10, 2025 at 2:41 AM
Weird one that. Clear #safc were emotionally drained after the win over Sheffield United, and a challenging run of festive fixtures. But the remit was to beat Portsmouth and Sunderland did just that. No letdown. Onward.
January 5, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Gutty performance by the Lads! Absolutely buzzing for Mayenda to score after a run of bad misses, and what can be said about Wilson’s skill and finish? #safc
HAPPY NEW YEAR 😍

That’s a really bad loss. Did #safc look past Stoke City? Inexcusable.

Another character win for #safc. Woke up at halftime and played 45 brilliant minutes against the opposition, the weather and the official. And just when I thought Jobe was hitting a midseason lull, that’s back to back clutch displays. Onward.
December 21, 2024 at 6:00 PM
Atrocious first 45 for #safc. A lot of poor performances, but Jobe looks totally at sea. Patto at fault for the first. Very lucky to only be a goal down.

Before I ever stepped foot on USC’s campus, I was a Georgia Tech fan. That was a gut punch tonight, but heads held high.

This 100%. #safc have done everything right other than win.
Frustrating that over the last 6 games on balance you’d say we’ve been the better side, yet we’ve not managed to win a game. Just missing something at the moment, but hard to criticise the lads. If we want to have a go at promotion then January key #safc
