I was hoping I'd be able to pull it together to fully enjoy this holiday, but I think that ship has sailed. I'll spare the details because I don't wanna bring down the mood more than I already have.

My dad said he's gonna get a dumpster sometime next week, so there's now a soft time limit for me to go through all my belongings in the house if I want to be efficient.

It was already stressful enough to think about but having added pressure makes me wish I was the one going in the dumpster.

I'm really just not doing well tbh, and losing all that time to a pointless endeavor with no real joy gained just makes me feel even worse than wasting time on literally anything else.

Staying informed is one thing, a miserable time sink is another.

Dwelling on it probably isn't good... but I just hate that I get so lost in these things. Straying so far from what I was originally reading about and gaining nothing of substance.

Maybe it's still a bit of a pipe dream, but $6 is much more manageable than the previous prices.

I touched on all the price increases and my wish to have the full Smash Bros set in a previous post, and that might be possible if this discount is permanent and spreads to other retailers.

I could see myself easily building up the Smash Bros lineup over time at $6 a pop, granted they're in stock.

Oh and possibly the DK and Pauline one even though I don't have a Switch 2 yet and it's one of the $16 ones. It's just too cute.

I had hoped that one day I could get all the Smash Amiibo and set them up in order of the Ultimate roster, but now I don't think that's ever gonna happen.

For now, I'll just get the ones I really want and be satisfied with that.

Amiibo in general are being raised in price though. Old ones seem to be $20, while new standard-sized ones are $30.

A shame, $16 was low enough that I used to be able to get most of the new releases I wanted; I even had a thing going for a while where I'd pick up any new Smash releases I saw.

The most expensive Amiibo I'll probably end up getting is the DK and Pauline Amiibo, but that's still less at $30.

I guess the Galaxy Amiibo are
stated to be larger than standard and are pretty elaborate, but still, it's just too much.
