I didn't recognize that IC logo and had to look it up. Those P4C116 chips are high speed 2Kx8 CMOS static RAM chips.

These are the two custom PCI boards from my MTX100B. I've never tried to do anything MPEG related with it. I bought it to use as a small self-contained system with a PCI GPIB controller as an HPDrive emulator box.
