It was meant as a joke. Having lived in New Orleans and MS, I will take Tulane fans over ole Miss fans every day of the week.

Tell me you’ve never lived I’m Mississippi without telling me you’ve never lived in Mississippi

But Bill, he’s just a smol boy who consumes nothing but antisemitic right wing racist propaganda. How can you hold that against hm??? Also…fuck Puka Nakua.

How we got here is he’s antisemitic and consumes antisemitic media. Anything else is excuse making.

You can’t be a multimillionaire athlete and play the “uninformed little baby” card. It’s his job to be informed before going on a livestream and being antisemitic. Don’t make excuses. You’re better than that.

Always look forward to this. Will you release the full list at the end?

Point 1 is correct. Point 2 is dumb. If you can be rewarded for winning you have to be punished for losing. Especially losing badly. And the process only worked this way BECAUSE of the helmet.

As a subscriber to “Sports, exclamation point!” since day one, I will always strive to let people know about Rodger Sherman’s newsletter to which you can subscribe for free. Worth every penny.

Any time I say the name of this app out loud, I will call it “Sports, sans exclamation point” for clarity’s sake

I totally get it. I drew my line at fantasy football. I know I would LOVE it, but I can’t let myself. I don’t have time for it.

My brother, let me introduce you to college football. I had big third downs AND big fourth downs yesterday.

Which one?

@edidin.bsky.social he’s 9, so the idea of a super-doctor-astronaut is very exciting.

My dad lived in those dorms in the late 70s/early 80s! When I was there in the mid 2000s, those rooms were still used as storage for the fine arts department.

I finally was able to quit. I’ll check dot net to see what happened on a PLE, but I just can’t justify to myself still watching. It makes me feel too bad.

It’s like my question about No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak.” It is Don’t tell me the words “cause it hurts” or is it don’t tell me because it will hurt me to hear it?

Although, honestly, this should hopefully not be an issue all the time. Most of my kids teachers have been good about it. This might be a particular hang up of this teacher.

Make a bit of a show of it. And at that point, if it doesn’t work you might just have to be blunt (if polite). Try to go in with a specific instance to address and hope that gets across the bigger point.

I’m a dad and a teacher. I do most of the pickup from school. I would suggest that if you have questions/concerns try to be the one to bring them up. Try communicating in the app and signing. It’s sad, but make a show of being a parent involved in their education.
