Canada and Denmark are NATO countries. Greenland is controlled by Denmark. To declare his intentions to exert economic influence on both countries for his own interests and clearly with his rhetoric talk of annexing Canada is effectively( my opinion)declaring war. Time for NATO to shut him down

Unbelievable ! Yesterday our Canadian Prime Minister resigned due to internal party pressure,and now the incoming US President is taking credit for this ? Further he continues to promote Canada as the 51st state which is nothing less than what Putin is doing in the Ukraine. Nice try,but NEVER !!!

I find Trumps’ constant belittling of Canada insulting and disgraceful for a US President, towards a friendly neighbour to the north. His comments even in jest mirror Putins approach to Ukraine and leads one to wonder……

The fact that the US President (elect)continues to talk about Canada as being the 51st state is highly insulting, and highlights perhaps his underlying agenda in terms of Canada. It’s going to be a difficult 4 years.
