This cold weather is hard on wooden instruments. Friendly reminder to make sure the outside of your clarinet is warm before you blow air through it & keep an eye on the humidity too. This is a bass clarinet with extensions all the way down to low C. Normally the lowest note on a clarinet is an E. As a player, these feel so alien to me. I’m impressed with folks who navigate all the extensions with ease. #clarinet #bassclarinet #bir #repair #bandrepair

Here’s something of mine from last year to add to the bloomscrolling.

Some poor child sat on their flute and probably thought that it was their last day on earth. Hopefully their parents exercised some restraint. As a beginner I had a terrible traumatic accident with my instrument, and I’m now working with the person who repaired all the damage.

My luffa vine has three gourds at the moment and I hope more will grow. These are the two largest ones. 🌱

My eggplant is putting out a lot of little fruits and flowers 🌱
