I found these tree roots covered in silt and mud on the Wainuimata Coast. Cleaned it. Isn’t it a beautiful piece of nature’s art?

A sparrow came through the chimney and ended in the fireplace. Tommy the cat was keen to get his paws on it. Sorry Tommy, you had your dinner. Got the little bird safely out.
