Been enjoying my Sony nw-a306, fully stripped of anything “online” for music.

Personally I’d like to just stop having a phone number.

Finally, a good use for Mox Diamond.

The ideas practically write themselves. But let’s do a multiverse within a multiverse set with 40 different versions of Spider-Man instead.

Among other missed opportunities for this set, there should have been 3 hero and 3 villain decks. They could have had another print run for Archenemy cards, plus a “Reverse Archenemy” format for a pod of one Spider-Man deck vs. 3 Villain decks.

I’ve been having a good time with a limited draft cube for Final Fantasy. Made the packs a bit more common-heavy + every pack has an FCA card in it. Makes for some crazy explosions. I’m liking cube more and more, but you’ve gotta pick what you really care about, just due to the space they take up.

I can't understand getting angry about Spider-Man. When I saw a Spider-Man set was coming my first instinct was "Huh, weird. Guess I'll build an EDH deck or two for my kids." That's the limit of my emotional response to it. That might be a me problem.

No issues with the art. This time around (at least what I’ve seen) things generally match up with the card titles. The FF reskins were all over the place. Almost as randomized at the first set of the Score DBZ card game from 2000.

The font feels like watching a movie with subtitles.

So at least another 18 months of sets with this awful “minimalist” thing before they can course correct?

I thought the FF ones were a joke based on the equally painful-to-look-at FFTCG full arts. I didn’t think they’d start using it everywhere.

Yeah it’s more a limitation of the materials. What I’m planning should make the windows look a lot better, but I’m working with “clear” PLA, so it’ll be a little janky regardless.

Looks like I might get better results spraying it with isopropyl alcohol after printing that bit. Will give it a go.

Found it: www.etsy.com/listing/1162...

Main issue is they won’t do “solid” fonts, but the double outline version works well enough.

Here’s a slightly cleaner shot of the extra bits. Rated “PG” for “fishy situations.” Most text taken from the Forgetful Fish article on MTGWiki.

Bought the 20-16-12-8-4-fish dice from someone on Etsy. Still need to work on dialing in my laser for etching those myself.

Taking another pass at the design of the front panel, then I’ll probably put the boxes on Etsy or something. The glue causes a lot more fog than I’d like. Going to see if I can limit that by hollowing out more of the front to have something that interlocks rather than precariously adheses.
