I see where you are going. Seal/adhere the tickets to the top of the table. Unfortunately, we only can work with a pretty select group of water based finishes due to environmental/air quality impact. One of the reasons my thoughts went to glass.

I am not sure building a table like that is up our alley, but what would you think of a custom piece of glass that could be made to fit on top of a purchased table? I could get some glass laser cut to most any size. Tickets under the glass would look great I would think.
